We are now searching for Head of Business Units Europe

Roles and Responsibilities with the territory:

 

  • Develop and execute business strategy with focus on Marketing & Sales
  • P&L responsibility for all capital projects and services in Business Unit Europe
  • Develop, implement and follow up all Cambi Sales & Marketing tools, plans, systems, processes and activities
  • Assist and actively engage in customer activities (meetings with key customers or other stakeholders, Cambi plant visits, seminars, conferences, exhibitions and the like)
  • Develop and lead Regional Sales & Marketing team/organization/agents to deliver high-performance targets
  • Identify agents, partnership opportunities and other key stakeholders
  • Actively contribute towards the optimization of the interaction between sales and other departments
  • Implement and follow up all Health, Safety & Quality Plans in line with Company policy
  • Reporting to EVP Sales & Marketing

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Masters /PhD degree in Wastewater / Anaerobic Digestion, Environmental Technology, Process Engineering, Nature Management, BioChemistry, and Industrial Economics is preferable, but other more business oriented degrees may be acceptable
  • Water Industry experience preferred, candidates from other environmental/process industries will also be considered
  • Experience with sales & marketing tools/systems/processes and developing/following through market/sales plans
  • Minimum 8-10 years of Management / Sales Management / Marketing Management experience (middle-top levels) with proven track record of achieving goals
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing, and preferably in German
  • Very strong communication and presentation skills; must be able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, at different levels
  • Experienced with IT/CRM working tools (Cambi uses Microsoft applications, Sharepoint, SalesForce)
  • Able to build trust and credibility by displaying honesty, integrity and curiosity
  • Collaborate and share insights with others, work in teams and create team spirit
  • Work systematically, structured and having a genuine desire to help employees, customers and other key stakeholders succeed

Location: Preferred location is at the HQ but we can also accept other locations in Europe – travelling must be expected.
