The Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Works is being renovated to accommodate a growing population, with an expansion target of 190 cubic metres per day from the current 105.
The contract, awarded to Cambi by Jardine Engineering Corporation, the winning contractor selected by the Hong Kong Drainage Services Department (HK DSD), is Cambi's first in Hong Kong. The plant is expected to be operational by 2024.
