The Cielcza Sewage Treatment Plant was transformed into the Jarocin Resource Recovery Plant by PWiK Jarocin, as part of a comprehensive upgrade to the water and wastewater systems serving Jarocin city and county. This modernisation introduced advanced anaerobic digestion utilising Cambi's thermal hydrolysis technology, coupled with Poland's first phosphorus recovery system. These innovations support the goals of the Baltic Sea Action Plan, which aims to restore the health of the sea's ecosystem by 2030.
