Stoke Bardolph
The Stoke Bardolph Sewage Treatment Works (STW) is Severn Trent’s fourth Cambi thermal hydrolysis plant. It serves as a sludge centre and is the largest sewage treatment plant in Nottinghamshire, discharging treated water into the River Trent.
It will be fully commissioned within 2021 and will serve a population equivalent of approximately 1.41 million. Besides a thermal hydrolysis process unit, it will also house a biogas upgrade plant for exporting biogas to the national grid.
