Cambi will collaborate with the municipal water utility EMAYA and a consortium comprising Tedagua, Lantania and Copasa at the Palma Wastewater Treatment Plant (EDAR II).

Our advanced thermal hydrolysis process will boost biogas production by up to 25%, significantly reduce sludge volume, and enable high-quality biosolids for land application.

Serving over 750,000 residents, this initiative enhances Palma's wastewater treatment infrastructure, supporting both environmental and economic sustainability.

This initiative is driven by the national water company Acuaes . The THP system will be installed in 2026, with operations expected to begin by 2027.
