Jurong
The Jurong WRP, owned and operated by the Public Utilities Board (PUB), is located in west Singapore. The plant treats industrial and municipal wastewater.
PUB chose to install a Cambi thermal hydrolysis system to process waste activated sludge (WAS), which is pre-treated together with fats, oil, and grease, and then cooled through tube-in-tube coolers before being sent to the digesters and dewatered by centrifuge.
Cambi supplied a B6 unit as well as the digester coolers. The system can be expanded to allow for future capacity requirements.
