The wastewater treatment plant at Tarnów collects and treats sewage sludge from the city of Tarnów and other cities and communes nearby, serving a population equivalent of 360,000.

The key benefits of Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process for the facility include recovery of energy from sludge and reduction of the volume of final biosolids for disposal.
