Front End Engineering Studies

Front End Engineering Studies mainly include Cambi services within early stages prior to both greenfield (new THP)  and brownfield (upgrade/expansion) investments. This might be the result of optimization studies done by Cambi as part of plant monitoring aiming at improved performance, increased capacity or a combination of both.

Under Front End Engineering Studies Cambi engineers perform feasibility and/or concept development studies to provide clients with both the technical solution and cost pictures as basis for decision making on investment. Examples of these studies are:

  • Produce engineering documents required for master plan development (greenfield)  or as input to board of management to decide on funding of plant upgrade (brownfield)
  • Perform techno-economical study of new concepts against sand and grit problems
  • Provide holistic services across the whole sludge line/ biowaste plant, together considering all individual systems across suppliers. Example: Combining the ATEX documentation of multiple sub suppliers into a unified document for the plant, and providing 3D models of the zoning across the plant.
