Maintenance Stops, Inspections, and Revisions

Cambi offers a comprehensive range of site services, categorised as follows:
- Annual Maintenance Stop Support – Assistance during planned maintenance activities, including the Annual Maintenance Stop.
- Periodic Site Visits – Visits by a Cambi expert, focusing on process optimisation, maintenance, or other areas as required by the THP operator.
- Site Management Services – Including plant operation and supervision.
In addition to these core services, Cambi provides troubleshooting, ad-hoc problem-solving, and complete operational and maintenance packages.
Below is an overview of each service and its scope.
Planned Annual Maintenance Supervision
Cambi recommends taking the THP plant out of service for a Revision Stop once a year to carry out an Annual Maintenance Stop. Cambi provides experienced supervisors to assist clients throughout the shutdown process.
Typical activities include:
- Establishing customer needs ahead of the shutdown.
- Planning activities in cooperation with the client and agreeing on the task list.
- Supervising and coordinating maintenance work.
- Inspecting all known wear parts, visually and using NDT measurements.
- Conducting annual cleaning of nozzles and vessel interiors, if required.
- Inspecting lances and nozzles inside the vessels.
- Replacing wear parts, if necessary.
- Providing guidance on cleaning requirements and maintenance needs post-inspection.
- Identifying critical challenges in the system and assisting with mitigation.
- Reporting status after inspections and refurbishment.
Planned Annual Maintenance Execution
Cambi can provide a complete crew of THP site engineers to plan and execute the Annual Maintenance Stop on behalf of the client. Cambi takes over the plant, performs all necessary maintenance activities—including equipment cleaning, calibration, refurbishments, and replacements—before returning the plant to full operation and handing it back to the client.
This service allows clients to focus on other tasks during planned downtime while ensuring maintenance is completed to the highest standards.
THP Health Check
Cambi sends a THP expert to assess the current condition of the plant. Together with the client, Cambi determines the visit’s focus based on the plant’s status and operational history. The visit is followed by a service report with potential recommendations for adjustments, renovations, upgrades, and further actions.
Scope of a THP health check may include:
- Assessing plant performance.
- Recommending process parameter adjustments to improve efficiency.
- Addressing technical queries.
- Providing guidance on minor and major repairs, as well as maintenance stops.
- Conducting operational training and providing advisory services.
Site Visit Focused on Maintenance
A site visit can serve various purposes, such as helping clients establish a preventive maintenance programme or evaluating the condition of process equipment.
Scope may include:
- Reviewing, executing, and planning maintenance tasks.
- Training the client’s operations and maintenance team on preventive maintenance.
- Assisting with pump inspections.
- Testing valve and pipeline conditions for deposits and buildup.
- Providing a detailed report with action points, recommendations for replacement parts, and photographic documentation.
